About The Comedy Club Bangkok
The Comedy Club Bangkok is the city’s original dedicated English-language comedy venue, hosting live stand-up and improv comedy shows since 2014. Featuring international touring comedians alongside veteran local talent, the club offers a relaxed, intimate setting for a great night out in Bangkok. We focus on professional, high-quality comedy in a space designed to bring people together - friends, strangers, expats, locals, and visitors - to share a live human comedy experience.
While English-language comedy remains at the heart of what we do, The Comedy Club Bangkok also produces and hosts comedy shows in a range of other languages, reflecting the diversity of Bangkok’s international community. These include performances in Hindi, Gujarati, Danish, French, Japanese, and Thai, alongside special multilingual and cultural comedy events.
Alongside its regular programming, The Comedy Club Bangkok has also used live comedy as a platform for community and charitable initiatives. These have included benefit shows and special events, most notably 'funny in pink', an all-female comedy show with 100% of proceeds donated to the Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer. The event reflects the club’s belief that comedy can entertain while also contributing positively beyond the stage.
Beyond Bangkok, we produce comedy shows and tours across Thailand, including Hua Hin, Chiang Mai, Phuket, Koh Samui, and Pattaya, with more locations added regularly. We also present theatre shows and special events featuring internationally recognised comedians such as Jimmy Carr, Jim Jefferies, Eddie Izzard, Jim Gaffigan, and more.
In addition to live shows, we run stand-up and improv comedy workshops, our popular Monday improv comedy meet-up, and corporate comedy shows and workshops tailored to businesses and organisations of all types and sizes.
